Focused on faces and places, Billy Henry’s work lives at the dusty crossroads of subjectivity and objectivity, nonfiction and fiction, creating a supernatural, storytellin’ world that orbits around narrative and energy. His work is a spiritual pursuit. He is drawn to working with musicians and other artists, and working on the road. He is based in Nashville, Tennessee and is available for hire worldwide.
Photobook projects currently in the works:
Echo Birds: portraits and landscapes made during his 4.5 years living in Los Angeles and Joshua Tree.
The Language of Ghosts: portraits and landscapes made in and around small mining, railroad, and farming communities within Colorado’s mountains and High Plains.
